The maintenence of the tattoo

That the tattoo is perfomed by a good tattoo artist is the first condition to have a good tattoo and the second is you. Because the better you care for your tattoo, the better it will be. The next first week  after  the tattoo is applied is crucial. During the first three days, the tattoo must not contact with water itself. Your skin is much sensitive as the tattoo needles damage and an unusual material (paint) was injected to the skin .So the skin is subject to all kinds of infection. Although wounds do not seem common, you must be careful. Because the body assumes the tattoo’s applied area on which bleeding and edema occur to be wound and starts restoring the inflammation with its defense cells. That’s why when not protected in a good condition, the risk of this area’s being infection is much as can be seen in many wound cases.

The tattoo’s being infection distorts the essence shape. Contacting with the water may cause the damaged area to be uncovered and water may carry probable microbes. Hence, protect yourself from water for at least three days. To do so, implementing the ointment with antibiotic on the tattoo’s applied part of the body heavily and wrapping the applied part for three or five days are advised. These processes should be repeated three times in a day. After the first week, you can continue to implement cream without using band. From this point on, your wound can be observed to start improving. Yet, this time can change according to the size of the wound and your structure. Your wound will improve in two ways: To form a shell on your skin and get rid of this shell from your skin. With every process of implementing cream on your skin, shells will disappear gradually. Therefore do not attempt to apply force, and to get rid of shells. During this time, if you  stretch wound shell, your skin may be scratched and tightened.

During the first month, you must be careful in order not the tattoo to contact with sun directly. Because when you tattoo, the applied part of your body is still denser and sensitive. That’s why it will be exposed to sun light much than it will be and this will lead the colour to fade and your still unimproved skin to come to harm.
